Dracula in leather pants
My. Dear. God.

I just watched Blade Trinity, which sucked so bad as a movie. It was pretty visually and the action scenes were alright, but the plot - sorry, what plot? There was some sad, sad dialogue there, not to mention some good actors that were simply trying to save their reputations even though the script probably made it nigh impossible.

But geez, I didn't watch that movie for a good plot or for an overall great movie experience. I simply, fangirlishly watched it for Dominic Purcell.

Well, poor mr Purcell's role in this catastrophe-of-a-movie was Drake, formerly known as Dracula. Now, I don't think I need to point out to you guys how sexy vampires are - I mean, is there a living person on this planet who doesn't find vampires sexy? Anyone? I thought so.

So, all I was expecting the movie to offer me was my daily dosage of Purcell handsomeness and my god, I definitely got what I was gambling for. Dracula in leather pants, wearing a rather revealing shirt or no shirt at all, talking with a low, gruffy, incredibly tempting voice... please someone get my inhalator and some nitros to keep my heart going, because I think I might just overheat and explode here.

Much to my fiancee Jaakko's amusement, I took my temperature after watching the movie and it was up over 2 celsius degrees signaling that I have high-ish fever at the moment. I'm pretty sure it's because of this nasty cold I've got, but Jaakko seems to believe it's just simply because I watched Dominic Purcell looking so gawddamn hot that I practically drooled all over the pillow I had to keep chewing on to keep all the winces of "Oh my god, that man is so hot he's gonna kill me" from coming out of my mouth.

I still keep wondering whether I'll ever grow over this insane fangirlishness that I have in my personality - it would be slightly less embarrasing to be me if I did, but my life would be so much more boring, so I really don't know if I ever want to grow over it.
And at least I can keep it in bay when I want to, unlike some anonymous others!

I had quite a bunch of trouble ever getting to the point of reading this comment - I kind of got stuck around to where your avatar was. (Gee, I wonder what could have possibly caused this...)

But when I finally DID get around to reading it and clicking the link you gave, I must say I did laugh quite dearly. We indeed seem to share a slightly similar taste when it comes to important things.

This could very well be a start for a beautiful friendship, as they say. ;)

We just got a new BIG television and we re-watched Blade on Friday night in celebration...Dom's hot body on that big screen. However, it made me wonder if you've seen the theatrical version of Blade only, or if you've seen the Director's Cut, because that's got the best scene of Dom, and it was actually cut from the theatrical version. You must see it....MUST. SEE. IT. :D

Hot damn! :D You must be happy about the new tv. I hope our old tv, despite being of decent size, breaks soon so we'll just have to get a new big one... though considering our student budget, that might turn out to be more of a problem than win-win situation. :D

I didn't really think twice when the dvd offered me a choice (either the theatrical version or the director's cut version) because had I chosen the shorter one, there was always the chance I'd miss out on something... ;D And obviously I would have missed something - good thing that I did watch Director's cut, then. What is this scene that was left out from the shorter version?

When he sucks Parker Posey's blood...that whole scene, leather pants, beautiful sculpted chest, shoving her down on the bed "Kill them all, a God"...*clears throat and fans self* Uh, yeah, that whole scene was deleted in the original. Isn't that tragic? Tragic, I know!

WHAT?! You have GOT to be kidding me?! I don't even know what to say! I think 'tragic' is a vast understatement, that's more like... ruthless carnage.

That scene was the main reason to watch the movie, for cookies' sake! :D I rewinded it like five times and drank about three gallons of icy water afterwards, because for some strange reason I was hot and my mouth was feeling oddly dry.

I can't imagine shooting that scene as a director and then ever be willing to part with it. It would have to go in the movie if it were mine! But I do love the scene where he goes into the Dracula merchandise store...so funny.

I have missed you! D: So good to see you alive and kicking and drooling all over hot, shirtless people. As usual. <3
